Michael Cannock

Michael began his career in 2000 as a sales representative for Heritage Office Furnishings, a Steelcase dealer and one of the leading British Colombia companies in the office furniture market. Over the next seventeen years, he joined Arti in Motion to launch a Hospitality Division in the US and Canada, and subsequently joined PI Fine Art as their Director of the Hospitality Division.

In 2017, Michael decided to go back to his roots in furniture and co-founded Furniture Atelier, a full-service furniture studio, crafting high-quality case goods and seating out of China. Michael’s vision for Furniture Atelier was to create a streamlined process to help Architects, Designers or Procurement Agents manage projects in positive and productive ways; and, to achieve success for the entire project team, while providing high quality and affordable products. FA Select was then born in order to provide two-and-three hotels with this same superior level of service at an accessible price.

Alison Bean

Alison leads FA Select’s strategic development initiatives to promote customer satisfaction, partnerships, and growth. Alison was brought onboard at Furniture Atelier just after the company formed, a principal figure from the onset. FA Select benefits greatly from her hospitality industry knowledge, leadership skills and business analysis capabilities.

Paul Neumann

As a Senior Operations Manager at FA Select, Paul works directly with the factories in Canada and China, making sure the product complies with our FA high standards and with our client’s expectations. He supports our FA Select team working as a liaison between the factories and our Project Managers and also provides our clients with technical support and great customer service.

Chris Gower

Chris comes to Furniture Atelier with 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including his time as a West Coast VP of sales at Appian Textiles and as  West Coast Regional Manager at Astro Lighting, tripling their business in just under three years.   A critical part of the launch of FA Select, Chris oversees Sales and Marketing strategy and initiatives.

Paulina Treger

With over 17 years of experience in accounting, specializing in financial reporting and management, Paulina is a Fractional Controller at Furniture Atelier, providing comprehensive financial oversight and strategic insights to support the company’s growth and success.

Vannesa Molina

Having worked both in the tech sector and hospitality design, as well as coordinating multi-million dollar projects in the Oil and Gas industry, as a Project Manager at FA Select, Vannesa is responsible for steering projects to success through effective teamwork and communication with Designers and Purchasing Agents

Irina Lelekova

Irina, born in Minsk, Belarus, came to us with extensive experience in high-end hospitality and residential furniture production, working as the Business Development Manager for Decca Furniture in their newly established Paris office. At FA Select, she is a Project Manager, strengthening long-lasting business relationships.

Eva Geyne

With 14 years of experience, having coordinated the design department., and oversaw all aspects of project planning, implementation, and execution by assessing project needs at Criteria Marketing and Design, Eva utilizes her knowledge and experience as a Project Manager at FA Select, identifying client’s needs and challenges, and providing solutions.

Kiana Keyhan

Kiana, initially a psychology student interested in working with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) children, came with her family to Canada in 2014 and decided to build a future here.  Graduating from business management school in 2018, she found her niche as a bookkeeper and is an indispensable part of the team at FA Select.

Valerie Levane

With a degree in International Business Management from Ryerson University in Canada and professional experience in the real estate sector at PMA Brethour Realty Group, she joined FA Select to support the Project Managers. Skilled in business administration, problem-solving, teamwork and collaboration, she uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth and efficient operations in a busy work environment.

Ferdinand Bautista

A licensed Civil Engineer by profession, Ferdinand’s career began as a Project Sales Executive at Cebu Progress Commercial, a home and office furnishing company in his home country the Philippines. He then worked in the Middle East as an Estimator and Material Coordinator for diverse Arab companies interested in developing hospitality projects.  At FA Select, his primary focus is on fit-out, joinery, FF&E as well as estimation.

Samantha Medina

Samantha brings over 20 years of diverse experience across customer service, sales, operations, project management, and education to Furniture Atelier. Her strong background in leadership, process improvement, and client relations enhances customer satisfaction and service efficiency.
